Lakewood, Washington – Fire Closes Down Theatre

Lakewood, Washington (May 26, 2019) – A fire which broke out in the concession area of the AMC Lakewood Theatre caused the place to be closed down. Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire.

The fire broke out on around 4:30 a.m. on early Sunday morning, when two of the newer soda machines caught fire. According to fire officials, the blaze was quickly contained and the destruction done was minimal, with the the only damage reported being the soda machines and some smoke damage on the walls and ceiling of the cinema. The closure is said to be temporary.
