Everett, Washington – Car Crashes Into House, Causes Gas Leak

Everett, Washington (September 17, 2019) – A car crashed into a residence on the 3200 block of Lombard Avenue on Tuesday morning. Fortunately no one inside the house was struck, and no injuries have been reported. The driver abandoned the car at the scene and police are currently trying to figure out their identity. The crash caused a natural gas leak, and two houses had to be temporarily evacuated while the gas line was being fixed.

The crash happened around 10 a.m. According to the report the car veered off Lombard Avenue and crashed into the house as well as a gas meter. Police have said that no other cars were involved in the accident. The scene was cleared by 2:30 p.m. and residents were allowed back into their homes.
