Ellensburg, Washington – Rollover Crash at Interstate 90

Ellensburg, Washington (November 27, 2019) – A van was reported to have gone through the median and flipped over to its side on eastbound Interstate 90 near milepost 117 on Wednesday morning. Fortunately no other vehicles were struck and the driver was uninjured in the crash. No other injuries were reported in the accident. According to the report from the Washington State Patrol, the van had been heading west when it went through the median and up the embankment, rolling over to its side on the right lane of eastbound Interstate 90. This caused said lane to be blocked. According to the report the van had been going too fast for the road conditions.

Wearing a seat belt helps mitigate possible injuries in this particular type of incident, and also minimizes the chances of being flung from the vehicle when it flips over.
