Ellensburg, Washington (July 20, 2019) – A brush fire broke out along Interstate 90 on Saturday afternoon, threatening structures and briefly causing a Level 3 evacuation of the area. However, the alarm was lowered to Level 1 within 20 minutes, which means residents should be aware of the danger. No injuries or damage has been reported to be caused by the fire.

The fire happened nine miles west of Ellensburg. The fire caused one lane of westbound Interstate 90 to be temporarily closed as the blaze was reported to moving towards structures. The cause of the fire has not been stated.
