Driver suspected of impairment causes three-car crash on I-90

SNOQUALMIE, WA – A driver was arrested Tuesday after causing a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 just west of State Route 18, according to the Washington State Patrol.
This is a collision that occurred EB I-90 just west of SR 18 just after 4 PM. A total of three vehicles were involved and the causing driver is under arrest for Vehicular Assault due to suspected impairment and serious injuries to occupants of the truck on its side. pic.twitter.com/ncAPtS3IEo

WSP Trooper Rick Johnson reported that the causing driver was arrested for vehicular assault and is suspected of being impaired at the time of the crash. Officials reported that the causing driver rear-ended a vehicle, causing that vehicle to crash into a third car on the SR 18 exit. The occupants of a pickup truck involved in the accident were seriously injured.
