The accident happened on the I-5 southbound ramp to the Interstate 705 and state Route 7 extension and was first reported at 10:53 p.m.
The vehicle involved struck a barrier, and its driver was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition as of Monday night.
Motorists in the area were advised to use alternate routes.
