Collision on State Route 161 in Graham blocks northbound traffic

Collision on SR 161 NB at MP 14.7 near 280th St E beginning at 3:38 pm on Dec. 31, 2020 until further notice. The NB lanes are blocked.

According to WSDOT Tacoma, the accident happened around 3:40 p.m. It is not clear what caused the accident. WSDOT did not report any injuries. The northbound lanes of the highway were blocked while crews clear the scene. It is not clear when the northbound lanes will reopen.
