Collision on State Route 16 near Pearl St blocks on-ramp

TACOMA, WA – A collision on State Route 16 east near Pearl St blocked the on-ramp to the highway on Tuesday morning, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Updated: Collision on SR 16 EB at milepost 3.6 near Pearl St. Beginning at 7:49 am on October 20, 2020 until further notice. The on ramp from 6th Ave. is partially blocked.

WSDOT did not report any injuries associated with this incident. It is not clear how many vehicles were involved or how it happened. The ramp to the highway near 6th Ave. was partly blocked while emergency crews responded.
