CLE ELUM, WA (CHELAN COUNTY) – Three people, including an 11-year-old and a 19-year-old, were killed in a head-on collision in Chelan County Friday night, according to iFIBER One News.

The accident happened on the Blewett Pass when Yakima woman Marjorie Acevedo, 43, crossed over the middle line in order to pass when it was unsafe to do so. Her white 2005 Toyota Sequoia collided head-on with Majelia Delgado, 19, who was operating a white 1997 Chevy S10.

A third vehicle also was involved in the wreckage, though the exact circumstances of how were not made clear.

A passenger in Acevedo’s vehicle, an 11-year-old boy from Yakima, was killed in the accident.

Delgado and her passenger, Seattle resident Fermin Delgado, 61, also died in the crash.

Acevedo survived the collision, though it is unclear at this time if she was injured during the accident.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
