Cheney, Washington – Semi Truck Crash Blocks Interstate 90

Cheney, Washington (March 14, 2020) – A collision involving two semi trucks caused eastbound Interstate 90  at milepost 264 to be blocked on Saturday morning. According to an article from The Spokesman-Review and tweets from Washington State Patrol Trooper Jeff Sevigney, there were no injuries in the incident. A detour was set up in place while crews worked to clear up the scene. The cause of the crash has not been reported, but the crash was among the many incidents reported to have been related to compact snow and ice on the road. Interstate 90 between Spokane and Ritzville was reported to be an area of particular concern. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in the incidents.
