MOSES LAKE, WA (GRANT COUNTY) – At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident involving a semi-truck on State Route 17 yesterday morning.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident occurred near Moses Lake at about 5:45 a.m., on SR-17 near milepost 43 and I-90.


A semi-truck and two cars were involved in the crash, which was first reported as an injury collision.

By about 8 a.m., WSP stated that someone had died in the accident.

SR-17 was blocked for several hours as authorities worked the crash. The roadway was clear around 10:30 a.m.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
