Arlington, Washington – One Seriously Injured in Car-Truck Collision

Arlington, Washington (March 25, 2019) – A crash was reported around 7:30 AM near 67th Avenue Northeast and 204th Street Northeast, where a car and a truck collided into each other. The driver of the car was trapped and had to be extricated from the wreckage. He was sad to have serious injuries and was airlifted to the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. There were no details on the state of the truck driver, but he was sent to the Cascade Valley Hospital as a precaution. The circumstances of the accident are under investigation.

The cleanup and investigation closed the road for three hours, but has since reopened.

However, in a 2013 study, most car-truck accidents are often caused by car drivers, with relation to driver errors. Regardless of which vehicle you are driving, one must always exercise caution on the road. With both cars and trucks, drivers must be responsible for making sure their vehicle is in a good condition and not prone to vehicle failure, and to always consider the road and weather conditions.
