BREMERTON, WA – A 71-year-old man driving a motorhome died after the vehicle crashed through a barrier in an accident in Bremerton yesterday morning, according to KOMO News.

The crash happened at about 8:45 a.m. near the north side of Warren Ave. Bridge as a 71-year-old man operating a green-and-white 37-ft. motorhome suffered what may have been a medical episode.

The motorhome collided with a barrier on the right side of the roadway before veering across the road, over the center line, and into a guardrail and another concrete barrier. The motorhome then finally fell down a steep embankment.

Despite the resuscitative efforts of emergency personnel, the victim died at the scene. He has yet to be publicly identified.

The victim’s wife, who was following behind him in a separate car, was not reported as injured.
